This 100% cacao bean powder is pressed from lightly roasted cacao beans right here in our chocolate kitchen!

We’re one of the only chocolate makers in the UK—and even in Europe—who press our own cocoa butter. Since cacao beans naturally contain about 50% cocoa butter, pressing out the butter lets us create this rich, flavorful, and totally natural cacao powder.

Unlike most cacao powders, ours is never alkalized. Alkalizing (or “Dutch processing”) means washing cacao powder with a chemical solution—usually synthetic potassium carbonate (yucky right?). It makes the powder darker and more soluble, but it also strips away much of the natural flavour and beneficial flavanols. No thanks.

Our cacao powder retains all the natural flavanols, minerals, vitamins and the complex flavour of the fine cacao beans it’s made from. No additives. No shortcuts. Just pure cacao.

We start with the same single origin beans we use in our chocolate bars—this batch is a flavourful blend from Guatemala.

Use it to make rich hot chocolate, in baking, sprinkled over your favourite foods, stirred into coffee for an incredible mocha, and so much more!

    Your Hot Chocolate is DELICIOUS!!! I have a Nespresso Milk Brother which I’ve been using to heat and froth Oat milk and then add the hot chocolate Cacao Powder with a teaspoon of Zusto and it is so CREAMY, RICH and SILKY SMOOTH!!! The boys love it too!C

    Absolutely great Hot chocolate powder . My son can be picky when it comes to food and drink . However he loves having this hot chocolate and all its benefits .
    It’s a wonderful rich and deep chocolate taste and makes a perfect hot drink on wintery days or when you need a pick me up . Highly recommend , it also makes a great chocolate cake 😍🤩.

    Wow – what a unique taste! Took a few cups of hot chocolate to get acquainted with it, but I have really come to like it. It has overtones of yogurt which I’m guessing is from the natural fermentation process.

    I’m not a coffee drinker, and I hadn’t been enthusiastic about mass produced hot cocoa in the past. I gave this a try because I thought it would be different. It sure was, delicious while drinking and leaves a pleasant aftertaste. Glad I got this as a gift because I realize it was the quality I’d been missing.

    Your Hot Cocoa fits The Bill!! It is FINE FLAVOR & TRUE TO THE BEAN!! I just prepared a cup with 1 1/2 Cups of skimmed milk heated on the Top of The Stove & 1 Tbsp of Cocoa. It was delightful & smooth & well worth the wait!!! Scrumptious!!!

    Rich, silky smooth cup full of bliss! We are big fans of the Dominican bars and really wanted to try the hot cocoa. Whether paired with whole milk or with unsweetened almond milk, the cocoa was luxurious – absolutely wonderful! You will not be disappointed.

    First superfood Cocoa hot chocolate experience, and it’s amazing yumminess in a mug! I added a little more than it directs on the packaging and it was perfect. Easily mixed to a creamy cocoa drink with a whisk, which also added a frothed top as a plus. This is definitely on the sweeter side of the cocoa spectrum due to the sweet caramel tones, but a delicious change. Looking forward to enjoying more and totally recommend.
